So far I'm impressed with these soft pots.
I was skeptical but decided to give them a try. My concern was that they would leak water like a sieve but so far after doing some pretty heavy watering there hasn't been a drop of water in the tray they are set up in. Also because they sit in a grow tent with a soft bottom I appreciate that they can't cut or cause any abrasions to the soft tray that came with the tent. Only an extended period of time will allow me to tell if they do in deed allow some air flow to the roots.
Because of the quantity of soil they hold it's also nice that they themselves are so very light. Other pots, even half decent plastic ones have some weight but here I'd have to say they are slightly heavier than a dozen feathers =)
The handles are a nice bonus. Lifting and moving in general would be a lot more difficult without them. While the pots are light, once filled with soil they can be very heavy and then trying to get a grip on the top edge while lifting would be a pain. The stitching where they attach is well done as is the bottom where panel is connected to the walls.
While this is a simple item it's well designed and made from nice material. How well it will perform over time I'll have to see but I expect that after a few re-potting sessions I'll have a better idea and will update.
For the price, about $3.50 each, this is a pretty good deal for what you get.
